Position: Paramedic Practitioner
Location: Leeds
Job Type: Permanent (Full-Time or Part-Time)
Salary: £42,000-£60,000 per annum (negotiable based upon experience)
Permanent Paramedic Practitioner position available for full-time or part-time hours, depending on your preference. Full training can be provided and great career progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities of the role will include:
• Telephone triage
• Face to face assessment
• Diagnosis and treatment of long-term conditions and minor illnesses
• Treatment for patients displaying a range of symptoms of minor illnesses and acute conditions.
• Work as an autonomous clinician with guidance from the GPs.
• Managing urgent care primarily with a GP. A designated GP will always be there to offer assistance or oversee.
• Evaluate clinical information gathered from the physical examination and history taking, and then start the necessary treatment and/or referral, including hospital admission if necessary.
• Complete home visits when necessary.
• When necessary, appropriately refer patients to secondary services.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices and disease preventions.
HCPC registration required to be considered for this position.
