Practice Nurse – Bristol
Location: Bristol
Hours: Part-time (flexible days, approx. 2–3 days per week)
Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 FTE (DOE) + NHS pension or private benefits (depending on employer type)
A well-established GP practice in Bristol is seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Nurse to join their clinical team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse who values work-life balance and wants to contribute meaningfully to a patient-focused, community-based healthcare setting.
Working as part of a friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team, the Practice Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality care through a mix of treatment room duties, chronic disease management, and health promotion.
Key Responsibilities:

Routine treatment room procedures: smears, immunisations, wound care, ECGs, bloods

Chronic disease management: asthma, diabetes, hypertension (depending on experience)

Support in health promotion and lifestyle advice

Patient education and preventative care

Maintaining accurate clinical records using EMIS or similar systems
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience working as a Practice Nurse in primary care

Proficiency in treatment room procedures

Experience or interest in long-term condition management (training can be provided)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team

NMC registration
