Practice Nurse – Nottingham
Full-Time & Part-Time Hours Available
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join a friendly, forward-thinking GP practice based in Nottingham. Key Responsibilities:

Providing high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients within the general practice setting.

Undertaking a wide range of clinical duties including wound care, immunisations, cervical screening, long-term condition reviews (such as diabetes, asthma, COPD, hypertension), health promotion, and travel health advice.

Supporting the management and delivery of QOF (Quality and Outcomes Framework), Enhanced Services, and national/local health initiatives.

Working collaboratively with GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Healthcare Assistants, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure the provision of holistic, patient-focused care.

Participating in clinical audits, safeguarding processes, and contributing to service development initiatives.

Maintaining accurate clinical records in line with best practice and GDPR requirements.
The Ideal Candidate:

A Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.

Previous experience in a general practice or primary care setting is desirable, but applications from nurses with relevant transferable skills (e.g., community nursing, secondary care) will be welcomed and supported.

Trained in chronic disease management, cervical cytology, childhood immunisations, and wound care (training can be provided if required).

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
