You will be joining a collaborative multidisciplinary team, which typically includes:
- GP Partners and Salaried GPs
- Advanced Nurse Practitioners
- Practice Nurses and Healthcare Assistants
- Clinical Pharmacists
- Social Prescribers and Mental Health Practitioners
- Experienced Management and Administrative Support

Role Overview
As a Practice Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering evidence-based nursing care while supporting patients to manage their health and wellbeing. You will work both independently and as part of the wider clinical team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Long-term condition reviews (Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, Hypertension)
- Cervical screening (if trained)
- Childhood and adult immunisation clinics
- Treatment room duties including wound care, ECGs, dressings, ear irrigation
- Smoking cessation and lifestyle management
- Travel health advice and vaccinations
- Contraceptive and HRT reviews (within scope of practice)
- Supporting QOF, clinical audits and recall processes
- Triage and same-day patient assessment when required
- Contributing to MDT discussions and collaborative care planning

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Registered Nurse with primary care experience (or strong transferable clinical background)
- Confident in treatment room skills and managing chronic conditions
