Job Summary:
A well-established and forward-thinking medical practice in Plymouth is seeking a skilled and caring Practice Nurse to enhance their dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide essential nursing services and contribute to the delivery of exceptional care for the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver nursing care, including wound management, immunizations, and routine health checks.
Conduct thorough patient assessments and create individualized care plans.
Work collaboratively with GPs, healthcare assistants, and other healthcare professionals to provide cohesive care.
Promote health education and preventative care, empowering patients to lead healthier lives.
Maintain precise and up-to-date patient records in line with clinical standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
Registered Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC registration.
Experience in primary care or community healthcare is highly desirable.
Skilled in administering child and adult immunizations and conducting cervical smear tests.
Familiarity with chronic disease management is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
Proficient in using electronic health records and clinical systems.
