Job Title: Registered Children's Home Manager

Location: Brackley

Salary: £46,721 per annum with a £10,000 annual bonus

Employment Type: Permanent

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Children's Home Manager to oversee our children's residential home in Brackley. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for the children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and management of the children's home in compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and guidelines.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people in the home.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child.
- Manage and support a team of care staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Maintain effective communication with external agencies, including social services, education providers, and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure the home meets and exceeds regulatory standards set by Ofsted.
- Manage the home's budget and resources effectively.
- Promote a positive and inclusive environment for both staff and residents.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in managing a children's residential home.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations, including the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and the Quality Standards.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage challenging situations.
