: Registered Children's Home Manager
Location: Camden
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Children's Home Manager to lead our mixed Learning Disabilities (LD) and Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD) children's home in Camden. This permanent role involves managing a home that accommodates up to 6 children and has successfully achieved a GOOD overall rating in its first inspection after a year of operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the children's home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Lead, support, and develop a team of care professionals, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
- Implement and maintain effective systems for monitoring and improving service delivery and outcomes for children.
- Liaise with external agencies, stakeholders, and families to ensure the best care and support for the children.
- Manage budgets, resources, and the home's operational needs efficiently.
- Ensure all policies, procedures, and safeguarding measures are adhered to and updated as necessary.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in managing a children's residential setting, ideally with LD and EBD populations.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent knowledge of childcare legislation, including the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant qualifications in social care or management.
