Children’s Home Manager – Ofsted Registered
Location: M16, Manchester
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per annum (plus performance-based bonus)
Full-time | Permanent | Monday to Friday

We are a progressive and child-focused provider of residential care, dedicated to offering a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). Our 2-bed Ofsted-registered home, based in the heart of M16, provides tailored, therapeutic support to empower young people to thrive.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead our home and team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring it meets and exceeds Ofsted and legislative requirements, while delivering high standards of care that place the needs of our children first.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of residential support staff
- Ensure compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Ofsted standards
- Deliver a high-quality, child-centred service focused on positive outcomes
- Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and risk management
- Manage budgets, staff rotas, and home administration
- Build effective relationships with local authorities, families, and external partners
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and reflective practice
What We’re Looking For
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a senior role within a children’s residential setting
Proven knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and care legislation
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Full UK driving licence
