Registered Children’s Home Manager
2 Bed Home
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 per year + Bonuses
Location: Nuneaton
We are recruiting on behalf of a growing children’s residential care provider for an experienced and passionate Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead a 2-bed residential children’s home in Nuneaton.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader who is committed to creating a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where young people can feel supported and achieve positive outcomes.
As the Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance with Ofsted regulations. You will lead and develop a small staff team while promoting a positive and therapeutic approach to care.
Key Responsibilities
- Register with Ofsted as the Children’s Home Manager
- Lead, motivate, and develop a small staff team
- Ensure the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
- Develop and oversee care plans tailored to each young person
- Maintain strong relationships with social workers, families, and external professionals
- Monitor the quality of care and drive continuous improvement
- Manage the daily operations, staffing, and resources within the home
Requirements
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- Experience working within a children’s residential home
- Previous experience as a Manager or Deputy Manager
- Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding practices
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- A genuine passion for improving outcomes for young people
Salary & Bonus Structure
- £55,000 – £60,000 annual salary
- Occupancy Bonus:
- £150 per month when the home has 1 child in placement
- £300 per month when the home has 2 children in placement
- Ofsted Performance Bonus:
- £1,500 bonus for a Good Ofsted rating
- £5,000 bonus for an Outstanding Ofsted rating
