Position: Care Home Manager
Location: Near Gillingham, Kent
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday
Are you an experienced Care Home Manager looking for a rewarding role in a supportive, family-run environment? My client is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to lead their well-established care home located just outside Gillingham, Kent.
About the Role:
As the Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and running of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and resident well-being. You’ll be working closely with a passionate team to uphold a positive, person-centred approach to care—especially in supporting individuals living with dementia.
Key Requirements:
Strong knowledge and understanding of CQC standards and regulations
Proven experience achieving a "Good" CQC rating
Demonstrable expertise in auditing and governance
Experience turning around underperforming services is highly desirable
Solid background in dementia care
Ideally hold a Level 5 NVQ in Health and Social Care (or working towards)
