Children’s Home Manager – 3 Bed EBD Home
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum
We are recruiting an experienced and committed Children’s Home Manager to lead a 3-bed residential home supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Birmingham.
This is an opportunity to take full leadership of a small home, ensuring high standards of care, strong team performance, and positive outcomes for children and young people.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will:

Hold overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of a 3-bed EBD home

Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards set by Ofsted

Lead, develop and supervise a residential care team

Promote a safe, structured and nurturing environment

Oversee care planning, risk management and safeguarding processes

Manage budgets, occupancy and home performance

Build effective relationships with local authorities and external professionals
Requirements

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)

Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children’s residential setting

Strong knowledge of EBD, safeguarding and children’s home regulations

Proven leadership and staff development experience

Commitment to achieving positive outcomes for young people
