Position: Registered Manager - Small Nursing Home
Location: Near Littlehampton, West Sussex
Salary: £50,000 (starting)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
My client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to join a small, well-established nursing home located close to Littlehampton, West Sussex. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with the NMC and have a passion for providing high-quality care in a homely, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing home
Ensure the highest standards of care and compliance with CQC regulations
Manage a team of dedicated care staff
Provide leadership and support to the nursing team
Develop and implement care plans, with a focus on dementia care
Build and maintain relationships with residents, families, and external agencies
Candidate Requirements:
Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
Experience in dementia care is essential
Ideally, you will already be an established Registered Manager, but we will consider an experienced Deputy Manager looking to step up into a managerial role
Longevity in previous roles demonstrating commitment and stability
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively
Excellent communication skills and a passion for person-centred care
