Location: Near Peacehaven, East Sussex
Salary: Up to £60,000 (dependent on experience)

They operate a medium-sized care home near Peacehaven, East Sussex, providing a warm and supportive environment where residents can feel safe and well-cared for.

Role Overview:
My client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead their care home and ensure the highest standards of care are maintained. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the home's operations, with a focus on delivering person-centered care, promoting resident well-being, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide strong leadership and direction to the care home team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality care that meets the individual needs and preferences of our residents, with a particular focus on dementia care.
Maintain a good understanding of CQC (Care Quality Commission) regulations and standards, ensuring compliance at all times.
Develop and implement effective systems for quality assurance, performance monitoring, and risk management.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders, promoting open communication and collaboration.
Manage the recruitment, training, and development of staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional care.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the care home, including budget management, health & safety compliance, and facility maintenance.

Requirements:
Extensive experience as a Registered Manager within the residential care sector, with a proven track record of success.
Strong knowledge and understanding of dementia care principles and best practices.
Excellent understanding of CQC regulations and requirements, with experience in maintaining compliance.
Effective leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver outstanding care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
A passion for promoting dignity, respect, and independence for all residents.
