Position: Registered Manager
Location: Weybridge, Surrey
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
Role Overview:
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the nursing home, ensuring the highest standards of care for all residents. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring that all services are delivered in line with regulatory standards and that the home provides a safe, caring, and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and quality standards.
Lead and manage a team of staff, ensuring excellent care delivery and a positive working environment.
Develop and implement care plans tailored to residents' individual needs, with a particular focus on dementia care.
Monitor and manage the financial performance of the home, ensuring budgetary targets are met.
Ensure that the home maintains a positive reputation and strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
Ensure staff training and development, maintaining high standards of care at all times.
Ideal Candidate:
Existing Registered Manager or a strong Deputy Manager looking to step up to the role.
Significant experience in dementia care is essential.
Nursing PIN is preferred but not essential.
Ideally, possess an NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and support a team.
Comprehensive understanding of CQC regulations and care standards.
