Purosearch are working with a learning disabilities service who require a Registered Manager to oversee their 10 bed residential service. The owners are committed to delivering outstanding care for individuals with learning disabilities and are looking for a manager to grow with the organisation as they expand.
This is a unique opportunity to shape a developing service, influence care practices, and make a tangible difference in the lives of the people they support.
As the manager, you will be responsible for:
Leading and inspiring a small, dynamic team to deliver high-quality care.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulatory standards (CQC), and company policies.
Developing personalised care plans that reflect each resident’s needs and goals.
Managing day-to-day operations, including staffing, budgets, and service development.
Building strong relationships with families, stakeholders, and external agencies.
Promoting a positive, inclusive, and person-centred culture.
About You:
Proven experience managing learning disabilities services, ideally in residential care.
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and care standards.
NVQ5 in Leadership and Management
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Passion for person-centred care and improving outcomes for individuals with learning disabilities.
Ability to adapt and develop processes in a growing service.
