Key Responsibilities:

The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will:

• Provide expert clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to a wide range of patients.
• Manage complex cases autonomously, ensuring comprehensive, patient-centred care.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based treatments and interventions.
• Prescribe medications, request and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate treatment plans in line with clinical best practice.
• Play a key role in service development and quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery.
• Offer mentorship and guidance to junior staff, fostering a positive learning environment.

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a Registered Nurse (RN) with an active NMC registration.
• Hold an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent qualification).
• Have significant experience as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, preferably within primary or urgent care.
• Possess an independent prescribing qualification.
• Demonstrate strong clinical decision-making skills and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
