Location: Wimbledon, London
Salary: £55,000 - £68,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time available

A well-established healthcare centre in Wimbledon is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join their multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will work alongside a skilled team of GPs, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals in a collaborative and friendly setting.

Role and Responsibilities

The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will work autonomously, delivering expert care to patients with both acute and chronic conditions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and making informed clinical decisions based on evidence-based practice.
  • Prescribing medications and treatments within the scope of their practice.
  • Managing long-term conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory illnesses.
  • Leading minor illness clinics and urgent care sessions.
  • Providing health promotion, education, and advice to patients.
  • Collaborating with GPs and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless continuity of care.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and supporting clinical governance.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with active NMC registration.
  • MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent qualification.
  • Independent Prescribing Qualification (V300).
  • Substantial experience in primary or urgent care settings.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to delivering patient-centred care and continuous professional development.
