Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) Wimbledon
Location: Wimbledon, London
Salary: £55,000 - £68,000 per annum (depending on experience)

A well-established healthcare centre in Wimbledon is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join their multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will work alongside a skilled team of GPs, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals in a collaborative and friendly setting.
Role and Responsibilities
The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will work autonomously, delivering expert care to patients with both acute and chronic conditions. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and making informed clinical decisions based on evidence-based practice.
- Prescribing medications and treatments within the scope of their practice.
- Managing long-term conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory illnesses.
- Leading minor illness clinics and urgent care sessions.
- Providing health promotion, education, and advice to patients.
- Collaborating with GPs and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless continuity of care.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and supporting clinical governance.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with active NMC registration.
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent qualification.
- Independent Prescribing Qualification (V300).
- Substantial experience in primary or urgent care settings.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to delivering patient-centred care and continuous professional development.
