Children's Home Manager
Location: Derby
Salary: Up to £52,000 per annum
Are you an experienced and passionate Children's Home Manager with a desire to make a real difference in the lives of young people? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dedicated team in managing a 2-bed Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) home in Derby.
About the Role:
As the Children's Home Manager, you will lead and manage a nurturing, safe, and supportive environment where children and young people can thrive. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and achieving exceptional outcomes for the children in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and direction to the team, promoting a positive and child-focused environment.
• Ensure the home operates in compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and best practices.
• Oversee care plans and risk assessments, tailoring support to individual needs.
• Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively.
• Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, families, and professionals.
• Strive to achieve and maintain an Ofsted rating of "Good" or "Outstanding."
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Children's Home Manager in a similar setting.
• A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
• In-depth knowledge of Ofsted standards and regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting and improving the lives of children and young people.
