Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 p.a. 
Location: Wolverhampton, WV1
Home Size: 4-Bed Learning Disabilities (LD) Home

Successful Candidate

  • Level 3 qualification in Children's Residential Care
  • Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Manager within a children's residential setting
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Sound knowledge of Ofsted regulations and children's residential care standards
  • Confident working independently and as part of a wider management team
  • Passionate about achieving positive outcomes for children and young people

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of a brand-new 4-bed Learning Disabilities children's home
  • Support the registration, setup, and successful launch of the service
  • Play a key role in developing the home's culture, standards, and operational procedures
  • Ensure the home operates in full compliance with Ofsted regulations and company policies
  • Recruit, lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing staff team
  • Promote positive outcomes and high-quality care for children and young people
  • Maintain and work towards achieving Outstanding Ofsted standards
  • Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and risk management processes
  • Manage budgets, resources, and occupancy levels effectively
  • Support the development and growth of new services within the organisation
  • Build positive relationships with external professionals, families, and stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement across all aspects of the service
