Children's Home Manager
Home Size: Currently 5-Bed SEMH Children's Home
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Location: Natland, Cumbria, LA9

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of a well-established 5-bed SEMH children's home.
- Provide strong leadership and management to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
- Lead, support, and develop the staff team through effective supervision and performance management.
- Ensure the home remains fully compliant with Ofsted regulations and all relevant legislation.
- Promote positive outcomes for children and young people by creating a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with local authorities, families, and external professionals.
- Manage the home's occupancy, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Manager within a children's residential home.
- Previous experience supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs (desirable)
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and children's residential care standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is desirable.
