Salary: £45,000 – £65,000 per annum DOE

Home Size: NEW 3-Bed EBD Children's Home

What We're Looking For
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent
- Significant experience working with children and young people with EBD and complex needs
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children's residential setting
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, Quality Standards and safeguarding
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a staff team
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Strong understanding of care planning, risk assessments and behaviour support
- Genuine commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the management and day-to-day operation of the 3-bed EBD children's home
- Lead the home to provide safe, nurturing, therapeutic and child-centred care
- Register the service with Ofsted and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and legislation
- Provide strong, inspirational leadership to the staff team
- Develop and maintain robust care plans, risk assessments and behaviour support strategies
- Lead staff recruitment, training, supervision and performance management
- Maintain effective occupancy levels and support responsible budget management
- Promote high standards of safeguarding, equality and care
- Work closely with placing authorities, social workers, external professionals and families
- Monitor the quality of care and drive continuous improvement
- Ensure the home delivers positive outcomes for children and young people
- Maintain strong regulatory and quality standards in preparation for Ofsted inspection
