Clinical deputy manager
Must be an RMN/ RGN
£45,000-£50,000
Wigan based: Monday to Friday, with weekend cover / on call when required

On behalf of a leading care provider, I am currently looking for a Clinical Deputy Manager to join one of their nursing homes within the Wigan area.
To be considered for this registered Clinical Deputy Manager role you should have previous deputy management experience within the nursing care sector
Key Responsibilities
·Provide effective leadership, support, and motivation to the care team.
·Deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence to ensure service continuity.
·Oversee daily operations, including care provision, administration, staffing, housekeeping, catering, and maintenance.
·Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with care standards.
·Conduct regular staff supervision, appraisals, and team meetings.
·Coordinate duty rotas, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and skill mix.
Clinical Duties
·Lead and support the nursing and medical needs of residents.
·Provide clinical guidance to ensure best practices in care delivery.
·Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding protocols.
·Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external healthcare professionals.
·Monitor clinical governance and participate in quality assurance activities.
·Conduct root cause analyses and develop action plans following incidents.
Key Skills required:
·RMN/RGN
·Previous Deputy Manager experience
·In-depth understanding of CQC standards and clinical governance.
·Experience with electronic care planning and medication systems.
