A leading provider of high-quality care are looking for an experienced Clinical Manager to oversee their medium sized nursing home in South London.
Scope
To support the Centre Director in ensuring outstanding care is delivered to Patients in line with best practice and the Fairlie Healthcare Group's Core Values and Values Framework, ensuring Patients are treated with compassion, kindness, dignity and respect.
To support the Clinical Matrons to ensure they are empowered and enabled to manage their allocated clinical area effectively.
To collate clinical information for quality and dashboarding purposes, ensuring accuracy and integrity of clinical data. To provide out-of-hours support, (based on the management on call rota) to the Centre, including weekend working as per agreed local arrangements.
To provide nursing leadership to the qualified nursing staff, acting as a role model and encouraging service development in relation to nursing practice. To be aware of Patient clinical dependencies and build effective partnership relationships with Patients and their significant others.
Ensuring clinical areas are safely staffed in respect of skill mix, competency and numbers of staff with regarding to Patient dependencies, clinical risk and appropriate resource allocation as per the Centre's agreed Establishment Hours.
What do I need to be successful?
Registered Nurse (RN1) with active NMC registration
Understanding of NMC Code of Professional Conduct
Proficiency in dispensing and administrating oral medication
The ability of managing and prioritising conflicting workloads
Enthusiasm for and belief in patient healthcare
