Clinical Pharmacist Lead – Primary Care

Salary: £33–£40 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Up to full-time, ideally 4 days per week
Location: Maidstone
Job Type: Permanent

I’m currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist Lead to join a supportive primary care team.

This role would suit a qualified Clinical Pharmacist with strong primary care experience who is looking to take the next step in their career and have a greater leadership responsibility within a practice setting.

The Role

  • Up to full-time hours, ideally across 4 days per week

  • Salary of £33–£40 per hour, depending on experience and skillset

  • Lead and support the clinical pharmacy function within the practice

  • Conduct structured medication reviews and optimise patient medication

  • Support the management of long-term conditions

  • Carry out medication reviews and prescribing-related work

  • Work closely with GPs, nurses, ANPs and the wider multidisciplinary team

  • Provide clinical guidance and support to other pharmacy team members

  • Contribute to improving prescribing safety, quality and efficiency

  • Opportunity to take on further leadership responsibilities

About You

  • Qualified Clinical Pharmacist

  • Previous experience working within primary care

  • Strong clinical knowledge and patient-facing experience

  • Independent prescribing qualification is desirable

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience would be highly advantageous

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Passionate about delivering high-quality patient care
