Are you a passionate Deputy Manager or Senior Nurse looking for a new challenge in a full supernumerary role?
My client are recruiting for a Deputy Manager to join a medium/large home in the beautiful market town of Leek. The home provides nursing and residential care to the elderly and those suffering from the diagnosis of dementia.

Requirements for the Deputy Manager:
• You must hold a current Nurse pin
• You will be experience in elderly/dementia care
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Have a clear and thorough knowledge of the CQC standards
• A commitment to patient-centred care and to values-based and evidence-based practice
Your Main responsibilities as a Deputy Home Manager will be:
• Assisting the Home Manager with the day to day running of the home
• Lead and train your clinical and support team to provide the highest standards of care
• Oversee assessment of prospective residents' needs, their care plans and risk assessments.
• Assess and report on the well-being and satisfaction levels of residents, taking forward continuous improvements.
• Troubleshooting and acting on your own initiative is essential to your success in this role
• Be dedicated to continuous professional development
