Job Description: Director Of Clinical Services
Location: Specialist Mental Health Hospital, Leeds
Salary: £55,000 per annum + Additional Benefits
Role Overview:We are seeking a qualified and experienced Director of Clinical Services to join a specialist mental health hospital in Leeds. The successful candidate will oversee the management of two 16-bedded wards, focusing on rehabilitation and dementia care. This role involves direct line management of two Ward Managers and is a key part of our senior management team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and management to the clinical services team, ensuring high standards of care across both wards.- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the rehabilitation and dementia wards.- Support and develop Ward Managers to ensure effective team performance and patient care.- Implement and maintain clinical governance, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.- Collaborate with other senior managers to achieve strategic goals and enhance service delivery.- Foster a positive and supportive environment for staff and patients.
Qualifications and Experience:- Qualified Nurse with valid NMC registration.- Extensive management experience within a hospital or mental health setting.- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.- Excellent understanding of clinical governance and healthcare regulations.
