About the Home Care Manager Role
This Domiciliary Care Manager job in Southampton offers the chance to take full ownership of a small but established service currently supporting 13 clients, with a clear focus on rapid growth.
You will play a key role in:
- Expanding domiciliary care hours
- Developing new care packages
- Building relationships with local authorities and commissioners
- Launching a supported living service
This is ideal for a proactive, business-minded care manager who wants to grow a service and progress into a more senior leadership role.
Key Responsibilities – Home Care / Domiciliary Care Manager
- Manage the day-to-day running of the home care service in Southampton
- Grow the domiciliary care business and increase hours delivered
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and inspections
- Develop and implement business growth strategies
- Build strong relationships with commissioners and stakeholders
- Recruit, train and lead care staff and coordinators
- Maintain high standards of care, compliance and governance
- Support the development of a new supported living provision
Requirements – Domiciliary Care Manager Job
- Previous experience as a Home Care Manager, Domiciliary Care Manager, or Registered Manager
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards and compliance
- Proven ability to grow a domiciliary care service
- Commercial awareness and business development skills
- Excellent leadership and organisational abilities
- Passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care
