An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nursing Home Manager / Registered Manager to join an exceptional, modern and state-of-the-art care home in Southport, Merseyside.

Offering a salary of up to £57,000, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Care Home Manager, Nursing Home Manager or Registered Manager who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and leading a successful care team.

The Nursing Home Manager Role

As Nursing Home Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management, leadership and quality of the service.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strong leadership to the nursing and care teams.

  • Ensuring consistently high standards of person-centred care.

  • Maintaining compliance with CQC regulations and legislation.

  • Leading quality assurance, audits and continuous improvement.

  • Managing safeguarding, risk assessments, care plans and incident management.

  • Recruiting, managing, developing and retaining a strong care team.

  • Providing effective staff supervision, appraisal and performance management.

  • Working closely with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.

  • Managing budgets, staffing levels and operational performance.

  • Promoting a positive culture focused on dignity, respect, independence and quality of life.

  • Preparing the service for CQC inspections and ensuring regulatory standards are maintained.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Care Home Manager, Registered Manager or Nursing Home Manager with a proven track record of leading a high-quality care service.

You should have:

  • Previous experience managing a care home or similar adult social care service.

  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and quality assurance.
