The Nursing Home Manager Role
As Nursing Home Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management, leadership and quality of the service.
Your responsibilities will include:

Providing strong leadership to the nursing and care teams.

Ensuring consistently high standards of person-centred care.

Maintaining compliance with CQC regulations and legislation.

Leading quality assurance, audits and continuous improvement.

Managing safeguarding, risk assessments, care plans and incident management.

Recruiting, managing, developing and retaining a strong care team.

Providing effective staff supervision, appraisal and performance management.

Working closely with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.

Managing budgets, staffing levels and operational performance.

Promoting a positive culture focused on dignity, respect, independence and quality of life.

Preparing the service for CQC inspections and ensuring regulatory standards are maintained.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Care Home Manager, Registered Manager or Nursing Home Manager with a proven track record of leading a high-quality care service.
You should have:

Previous experience managing a care home or similar adult social care service.

Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and quality assurance.
