Occupational Health Advisor

Our client is looking for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join their friendly multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will provide expert occupational health advice through case management, helping to support the health, wellbeing, and fitness for work of employees.

You'll work alongside a team of Occupational Health Physicians, Advisors, Physiotherapists, Nurses, Technicians, and Reception staff in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage occupational health referrals, including sickness absence, attendance, and fitness for work assessments.
  • Provide evidence-based occupational health advice to employees and managers.
  • Prepare clear, accurate, and professional reports.
  • Offer guidance on occupational health legislation and best practice.
  • Maintain your professional knowledge through continuous development and keep your NMC registration up to date.

What We're Looking For

  • Registered Nurse (Part 1) with a postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health (Degree or Diploma).
  • Experience in occupational health case management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Understanding of confidentiality, data protection, and professional boundaries.
  • Ability to work independently, recognise when to seek support, and adapt to changing priorities.
