Occupational Health Advisor
Location: Oxford
Salary: £52,000 per annum + £2,500 onsite bonus
Hours: Full-time
We are seeking a confident, proactive and experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join an established Occupational Health team supporting a site in Oxford.
This is an excellent opportunity for an autonomous OHA to join a supportive team and deliver a high-quality Occupational Health service within a well-established client environment.
The Team
You will work as part of an experienced Occupational Health team consisting of:
- 2 Occupational Health Advisors
- Occupational Health Manager
- Contract Lead
- Occupational Health Technician
You will be supported by an experienced team while having the autonomy to manage your own clinical workload.
The Role
As an Occupational Health Advisor, you will be responsible for:
- Managing approximately 5–6 Occupational Health case management referrals per day when working onsite
- Conducting professional fitness-for-work assessments and providing evidence-based advice
- Advising employees and managers on Occupational Health matters
- Supporting health surveillance activities where required
- Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records
- Working collaboratively with the wider Occupational Health team
- Managing your own caseload independently and professionally
- Delivering a high-quality service focused on the needs of the employee and client
- Typical working hours are approximately 8:00/8:30am to 4:30/5:00pm.
About You
- A Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration
- Experienced as an Occupational Health Advisor
- Fully autonomous and confident managing your own caseload
- Able to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
- Professional, proactive and approachable
- An excellent communicator with strong stakeholder-management skills
- Passionate about delivering high-quality Occupational Health services
- Comfortable working within a busy, client-focused environment
