Practice Nurse Vacancy – Innovative GP Practice in High Wycombe

The Role
The Practice Nurse will play a key role in delivering high-quality nursing care to the practice population. Responsibilities will include:
- Providing routine nursing care including wound care, immunisations, and cervical screening
- Managing chronic disease clinics (e.g. diabetes, asthma, COPD)
- Supporting health promotion and patient education initiatives
- Assisting with infection prevention and control measures
- Contributing to continuous service improvement and innovative care delivery
The Ideal Candidate
The practice is seeking a nurse who is:
- A qualified RGN with current NMC registration
- Experienced in primary care or community nursing (preferred but not essential)
- Passionate about patient-centred care
- Proactive, adaptable, and keen to embrace new ways of working
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills
