Job Title: Primary Care Physiotherapist
Location: Milton Keynes
Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract: Full-time / Part-time options available
About the Role:
A dedicated and highly motivated Primary Care Physiotherapist is sought to join a multidisciplinary healthcare team in Milton Keynes. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a primary care setting, providing expert musculoskeletal (MSK) assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients within GP surgeries and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting first-contact physiotherapy assessments for patients presenting with MSK conditions.
- Providing expert clinical advice and developing treatment plans to support patient self-management.
- Working collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Delivering evidence-based interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education.
- Supporting patients in managing chronic conditions and preventing further injury.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration and Chartered Physiotherapist (CSP) membership.
- Degree in Physiotherapy (BSc or MSc).
- Experience working within musculoskeletal physiotherapy, preferably in a primary care or community setting.
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of NHS pathways and primary care structures is desirable.
