Job Title: Primary Care Physiotherapist

About the Role:

A dedicated and highly motivated Primary Care Physiotherapist is sought to join a multidisciplinary healthcare team in Milton Keynes. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a primary care setting, providing expert musculoskeletal (MSK) assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients within GP surgeries and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting first-contact physiotherapy assessments for patients presenting with MSK conditions.
  • Providing expert clinical advice and developing treatment plans to support patient self-management.
  • Working collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Delivering evidence-based interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education.
  • Supporting patients in managing chronic conditions and preventing further injury.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration and Chartered Physiotherapist (CSP) membership.
  • Degree in Physiotherapy (BSc or MSc).
  • Experience working within musculoskeletal physiotherapy, preferably in a primary care or community setting.
  • Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of NHS pathways and primary care structures is desirable.
