Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

We are a new start-up providing a 2-bed home specializing in Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD). Our mission is to offer a safe and nurturing environment for children, encouraging their growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the children's home ensuring the highest standards of care and safety.
- Lead and manage the care team, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements, including OFSTED standards.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimize the quality of care and services provided.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, their families, and external agencies.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.
- Handle administrative tasks related to the management of the home, including staff rotas, performance reviews, and reporting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services or equivalent.
- Proven experience in managing a children's residential home, specifically within an EBD setting.
- In-depth knowledge of childcare legislation, safeguarding, and child protection.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to the welfare and development of children.
