Registered Children's Home Manager

Location: Coventry

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 per annum, plus £8,000 bonus

Job Type: Permanent

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Children's Home Manager to lead our new 3-bed Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD) service in Coventry. As part of a growing organization, you will play a vital role in establishing and managing high-quality care standards while supporting the development of additional services in Birmingham, with plans for six new openings.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the children's home, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Manage and support a team of care staff, providing leadership, training, and development opportunities.
  • Ensure the home provides a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children with EBD.
  • Work collaboratively with external stakeholders, including local authorities and healthcare providers.
  • Monitor budgets and resources effectively to ensure financial sustainability.
  • Lead efforts in expanding services in Birmingham and other locations, contributing to strategic planning and execution.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing a children's home or similar care setting.
  • Strong knowledge of EBD and child care regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage challenging situations.
