Position: Registered Care Home Manager – East Sussex
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum
Hours: Full-Time, Permanent Position
Are you a dynamic and experienced care home manager looking for your next challenge? My client is seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Manager to lead their medium-sized care home in East Sussex, providing exceptional care and support to the residents.
About the Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, regulatory compliance, and staff leadership. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual who is committed to delivering person-centred care, with a strong focus on dementia.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, inspire and manage a team to deliver outstanding care
Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and standards
Maintain or improve existing Good CQC ratings
Oversee all aspects of care delivery, staffing, and budgeting
Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement
Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external agencies
Requirements:
Previous experience managing a medium to large-sized care home
NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
In-depth knowledge and understanding of CQC standards and regulations
Proven track record of maintaining a Good CQC rating or demonstrable experience in turning a service around
Strong understanding and experience in dementia care
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and develop staff while maintaining a positive and supportive working environment
