Whitby
£35,000 - 38,000 per annum plus bonus

A rare and unique role has arisen for a Registered Manager to work across two small services in the seaside town of Whitby, supporting 21 residents

The homes, literally a few minutes walk away from each other provides residential care for younger adults and older people who have a learning disability, mental health & challenging behaviour.

You will be responsible for the running of the homes whilst building and maintaining excellent relationships with outside agencies and local authorities. My client is looking for somebody that has existing experience of working with a Learning Disabilities client group and challenging behaviour experience is also desirable.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home ensuring that targets are achieved whist providing the highest standards of care. As a result, knowledge of budgeting, marketing and resource management is an essential requirement and well as the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Skills and experience for the role of Registered Manager:

• Commitment to delivering high quality care
• Previous managerial experience in a similar environment
• Strong working knowledge of regulatory standards
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
