Responsible Individual – Children’s Home (1 Day per Week) |
Day rate: £500/day
Location: Barnsley
1 day per week
We are recruiting on behalf of a children’s home looking for an experienced Responsible Individual to provide strategic oversight and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. This role offers a flexible, one-day-per-week commitment with a competitive day rate of £500.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the children’s home to ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards.
- Support and challenge the Registered Manager to maintain excellent care standards.
- Review policies, safeguarding practices, and quality assurance processes.
- Produce clear oversight reports and contribute to service development.
- Promote the welfare and safety of children and young people.
What they’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Responsible Individual or senior leader in children’s residential care.
- Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations and Ofsted frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Commitment to high standards of safeguarding and care.
