Salaried GP
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic GP to join a highly rated GMS practice based in the charming market town of South Molton, located on the southern edge of Exmoor in beautiful North Devon. This practice, rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission, offers an employed position for up to four sessions per week with a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, they are also happy to take on newly qualified GP's.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centred primary care in line with GMC guidance and NHS contractual obligations.
- Conduct face-to-face and telephone consultations, triage, and home visits as clinically required.
- Work collaboratively with the wider clinical team, including nurses, ANPs, HCAs, and pharmacists.
- Contribute to the achievement of practice targets (e.g. QOF) and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Support the delivery of enhanced services and chronic disease management programmes.
- Engage in clinical audit, significant event analysis, and other governance activities as appropriate.
- Manage clinical correspondence, pathology results, and referrals in a timely and efficient manner.
- Utilise allocated admin time and remote working tools to support effective workload management.
- Attend and participate in team meetings, MDT discussions, and continuing professional development sessions.
- Option to contribute to research, mentoring, teaching, or service development projects.

- Deliver the full range of GP clinical duties, with no partnership responsibilities.

Working Environment

- Up to 4 clinical sessions per week available.
