This home is a specialist care provider for those with learning disabilities mental health needs, and forensic backgrounds. They are looking for a caring and diligent care home manager to join them.
This role of care home manager presents a fantastic opportunity for those with a background in home management or for those looking to take a step up from the deputy manager position. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion working in the learning disabilities care sector.
Key Care Home Manager responsibilities:
• Maintaining and cultivating relationships with stakeholders, service users and their families.
• Assuming responsibility for recruitment and organisation of staff
• Working with and alongside local authorities, social services and the CQC
• To be aware of the care providers values, policies & procedures always and always to carry out duties accordingly.
• Ensure that high quality care is being delivered in alignment with the care providers values, policies and procedures.
• To take responsibility for management of the home's finances
Essential criteria:
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in team leader / deputy role or 1 years'
• Experience in a registered manager post
• Hold a valid driving licence
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate IT skills
• Experience leading and managing a team
