A new residential care home management role has opened in a picturesque area within a wonderful care home along the North Norfolk coast. The role will concern overseeing of staff and service users in a mental health facility focussing on providing care for peoples with learning disabilities and mental health disorders.
We are keen to find a care home manager with proven management skills and experience with a deep understanding of learning disabilities and mental health issues with a commitment to providing the highest level of care.
Purpose of the Role
The main responsibilities of this care home manager role are overseeing staff organisation, managing of the home's financial budgets and a keen understanding of CQC regulations. You will be committed to progressive care, working to provide greater independent living for service users.
Key duties and care home manager responsibilities:
• Recruitment, training and mentoring of staff alongside staff organisation duties
• Management of finances, working with and within budgets
• Ensuring consistent high standards of care is being delivered across the organisation
• Growing and maintaining relationships with service users, their families on top of staff and stakeholders.
• A committed approach to offering the best possible care in line with the organisation and their values.
Skills and experience:
• Proven experience working in a care home management role
• A deep understanding of learning disabilities and mental health disorders
• Experience and understanding of working with CQC
• Nurse pin not required
