Job Advert: Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) Manager
Location: West Sussex
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
My client is seeking a skilled and compassionate Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) Manager to oversee a small group of homes across West Sussex. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for enhancing the quality of care and supporting individuals with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage PBS practices across multiple care homes
Provide expert advice and guidance to staff on positive behavioural support strategies
Conduct assessments of individuals' needs and develop tailored PBS plans
Advise on and support complex dementia care
Analyse data to track and measure behavioural progress and adapt care strategies as necessary
Ensure staff receive ongoing training and development in PBS approaches
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for residents
Ideal Candidate:
Experience in Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) or a background in psychology (degree preferred)
Proven experience in analysing data and advising on care strategies
Previous experience working with individuals with complex dementia care needs
Strong communication and leadership skills
Experience conducting assessments and creating tailored support plans
Compassionate, proactive, and solution-focused approach to care
Additional Benefits:
Petrol paid at 45p per mile
Full-time, Monday to Friday role
Competitive salary of up to £35,000 per year
