Job Description:
A reputable medical practice in Torquay is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join their multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, contributing to the overall health and well-being of the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments and managing chronic disease clinics
- Administering immunisations, vaccinations, and wound care
- Providing health promotion and education to patients
- Assisting with minor surgical procedures
- Collaborating with GPs and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with current NMC registration
- Previous experience in a primary care or general practice setting is desirable
- Proficiency in chronic disease management, including diabetes and asthma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
