Purosearch are looking for Home Manager who is caring and possess a strong history in care home management, compliance and good business acumen.
I am looking for an outstanding and motivated individual to manage a medium purpose built Residential care home situated in Doncaster. The home provides residential care for older people who are frail, elderly and may suffer with dementia; the home is easily commutable from surrounding areas.
As the successful applicant you will be joining a very well established care home that is operated by a fantastic provider that is looking at expansion over the coming year. The home has an experienced and committed staff team who you will be supported by as well as a fantastic senior management support structure who will support you to strive to achieve the best possible outcomes for the service and its residents. You will have a proven track record of successful home management and excellent knowledge of CQC and current legislation.
Key Responsibilities of the Home Manager:
• Overall responsibility of the home
• Staff management- maintaining the team/ appraisals/ training
• Care plans/ reviews/ meetings
• Build and maintain rapport with staff/residents/their families & all external bodies
• Undertake assessments of other staffs and review care packages
• Be a role model for staffs and service users
Skills/ Qualifications of the Nursing Home Manager:
• Proven track record of successful home management.
• Sound knowledge of CQC and Care Standards
• Dynamic & Enthusiastic
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop staff
