Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum

We are a dedicated provider of high-quality care for children and young people, currently operating one children's home with the vision of expanding to nine additional homes within the next five years. Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Responsible Individual (RI) to join our team. The RI will play a crucial role in supporting the Registered Manager (RM) and driving the recruitment process as we expand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in children's residential care and a commitment to achieving excellence in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management and operational functions of the children's home to ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards.
- Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, providing guidance and leadership to ensure high-quality care is delivered.
- Develop and implement strategies for the recruitment and retention of staff to meet the needs of the home as we expand.
- Ensure that all staff are adequately trained, supported, and supervised in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of the home to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with all relevant legislation.
- Liaise with external agencies, stakeholders, and local authorities to promote the best interests of the children and the home.
- Lead on safeguarding initiatives and ensure robust policies and procedures are in place to protect children and young people.
- Foster a positive and inclusive culture within the home that promotes the well-being and development of both staff and residents.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on the performance and progress of the home.

Qualifications and Experience:
- A relevant qualification in Social Work, Health and Social Care, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior management role within children's residential care.
- In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations and standards for children's homes.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Ability to work flexibly, including hybrid working arrangements, and adapt to the needs of the service.
