Position Overview:
A leading healthcare provider in Chatham is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and the formulation of differential diagnoses.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with evidence-based guidelines and regulatory frameworks.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as suturing, wound care, and minor surgical interventions.
  • Provide expert clinical advice and support to patients, families, and carers, ensuring compassionate and patient-centered care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and pathways.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, attending training sessions, and keeping abreast of the latest advancements in nursing practice and healthcare.
  • Mentor and supervise junior staff, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth within the team.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload effectively.
  • Strong clinical skills with proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
