General Practitioner (Salaried) – Nottingham

Location: Nottingham
Salary: Up to £114,500 FTE (dependent on experience)
Hours: 2–8 sessions per week (flexible)
Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Practitioner to join a well-established primary care service in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive, forward-thinking team delivering high-quality NHS care within a modern, structured clinical model.

The role is based within a busy GP practice operating a total triage system, with a strong focus on improving access, clinical outcomes, and patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality clinical care to registered patients across a range of presentation types
  • Conduct consultations via telephone, video, and face-to-face appointments
  • Participate in clinical triage as part of a total triage model
  • Manage clinical administration including correspondence, results, and prescriptions
  • Contribute to safeguarding duties and clinical governance activity
  • Support chronic disease management and long-term condition reviews
  • Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team
  • Contribute to QOF, audits, and service improvement initiatives
  • Participate in practice meetings and service development planning

About You

  • GMC registered GP on the NHS Performers List
  • MRCGP or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working in a primary care or general practice setting
  • Confident working within a total triage or digital-first model
  • Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
